Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Maplog's mobile app, website, and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using Maplog, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Maplog.

Using Maplog

Maplog gives you a personal, limited, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the service for lawful, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for the travel information, notes, and other content you add to Maplog, and for keeping your device and account credentials secure.

Accounts and sign-in

You can use core Maplog features without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, you must provide accurate information and use only an account you are authorized to use. Sign-in is optional and is intended to support account access, backup, and syncing across devices. Signing in with Google does not grant Maplog access to your Google Maps Timeline. Timeline import uses a file you export from Google Maps on your device.

Acceptable use

When using Maplog, you must not:

• Break the law or infringe another person's rights.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the security of Maplog.
• Use Maplog to distribute harmful code, spam, or abusive content.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to Maplog. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content to provide the service you request. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights needed to add or share your content.

Purchases

Maplog may offer optional paid features. Purchases made through an app store are processed by that store and are subject to its terms, billing rules, and refund policies. Feature availability, pricing, and purchase options are shown before you complete a purchase.

Service availability

We work to keep Maplog available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or improve the service.

Intellectual property

Maplog and its branding, software, designs, and other service materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use Maplog under these terms, no rights are granted to you.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Maplog is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Maplog. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or applicable law changes. We will post the updated terms here and revise the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use Maplog after an update means you accept the updated terms.
